Total 27 clinical symptoms reported for Opsismodysplasia
Abnormality of epiphysis morphology An anomaly of epiphysis, which is the expanded articular end of a long bone that developes from a secondary ossification center, and which during the period of growth is either entirely cartilaginous or is separated from the shaft by a cartilaginous disk.

Synonyms:Abnormal shape of end part of bone; Abnormality of the epiphyses; Anomaly of the epiphyses; Epiphyseal abnormality
Very frequent
Abnormality of the metaphysis An abnormality of one or more metaphysis, i.e., of the somewhat wider portion of a long bone that is adjacent to the epiphyseal growth plate and grows during childhood.

Synonyms:Abnormality of the wide portion of a long bone
Very frequent
Abnormally ossified vertebrae An abnormality of the formation and mineralization of one or more vertebrae.

Synonyms:Abnormal bone maturation of vertebra; Abnormal vertebral ossification; Abnormality of ossification/mineralisation of vertebrae
Very frequent
Brachydactyly Digits that appear disproportionately short compared to the hand/foot. The word brachydactyly is used here to describe a series distinct patterns of shortened digits (brachydactyly types A-E). This is the sense used here.

Synonyms:Brachydactyly syndrome; Short fingers or toes
Very frequent
Delayed skeletal maturation A decreased rate of skeletal maturation. Delayed skeletal maturation can be diagnosed on the basis of an estimation of the bone age from radiographs of specific bones in the human body.

Synonyms:Delayed bone age; Delayed bone age before puberty; Delayed bone maturation; Delayed skeletal development; Retarded bone age; Skeletal maturation retardation
Very frequent
Depressed nasal bridge Posterior positioning of the nasal root in relation to the overall facial profile for age.

Synonyms:Depressed bridge of nose; Depressed nasal bridge; Depressed nasal root; Flat bridge of nose; Flat nasal bridge; Flat nasal root; Flat, nasal bridge; Flattened nasal bridge; Low nasal bridge; Low nasal root; Retruded bridge of nose; Retruded nasal bridge
Very frequent
Frontal bossing Bilateral bulging of the lateral frontal bone prominences with relative sparing of the midline.

Synonyms:Frontal protruberance; Skull bossing
Very frequent
Hypoplastic ischia Underdevelopment of the ischium, which forms the lower and back part of the hip bone.

Synonyms:Hypoplastic ischial bones; Hypoplastic ischii; Hypoplastic ischium
Very frequent
Hypoplastic pubic bone Underdevelopment of the pubis, which together with the ilium and the ischium, is one of the three bones that make up the hip bone.

Synonyms:Hypoplastic pubic bones; Hypoplastic pubis
Very frequent
Hypoplastic vertebral bodies

Synonyms:Small vertebrae; Small vertebral bodies; Underdeveloped back bones
Very frequent
Large fontanelles In newborns, the two frontal bones, two parietal bones, and one occipital bone are joined by fibrous sutures, which form a small posterior fontanelle, and a larger, diamond-shaped anterior fontanelle. These regions allow for the skull to pass the birth canal and for later growth. The fontanelles gradually ossify, whereby the posterior fontanelle usually closes by eight weeks and the anterior fontanelle by the 9th to 16th month of age. Large fontanelles are diagnosed if the fontanelles are larger than age-dependent norms.

Synonyms:Enlarged fontanelles; Large fontanel; Large fontanelle; Large fontanels; Persistent wide fontanel; Wide fontanelles
Very frequent
Macrocephaly Occipitofrontal (head) circumference greater than 97th centile compared to appropriate, age matched, sex-matched normal standards. Alternatively, a apparently increased size of the cranium.

Synonyms:Increased size of cranium; Increased size of skull; Large head; Large head circumference; Macrocrania; Megacephaly
Very frequent
Respiratory insufficiency

Synonyms:Respiratory impairment
Very frequent
Severe short stature A severe degree of short stature, more than -4 SD from the mean corrected for age and sex.

Synonyms:Dwarfism; Proportionate dwarfism; Severe short stature; Short stature, extreme; Short stature, severe
Very frequent
Short nose Distance from nasion to subnasale more than two standard deviations below the mean, or alternatively, an apparently decreased length from the nasal root to the nasal tip.

Synonyms:Decreased length of nose; Hypoplastic nose; Nasal hypoplasia; Short nose; Shortened nose
Very frequent
